Fight Arthritis Pain – Brian Teacher

Client: Arthritis Foundation / USTA / Ad Council

“Arthritis started for me when I was 19 years old…”

Osteoarthritis strikes 27 million Americans.  One of them is Brian Teacher, a professional tennis coach who won the Australian Open in 1981.  Staying active is an important way to manage the pain of OA, and as part of their national campaign “Fight Arthritis Pain,” the Arthritis Foundation and The Ad Council commissioned Human Interest Films to produce profiles of individuals who have suffered from arthritis but learned to manage the condition in part through physical activity.  We spent an inspiring day with Brian Teacher and produced this piece which appears on the home page of the campaign’s website
