Macy’s Supports Veterans

“Support our veterans as they return home to become leaders and assets in our communities.”

Macy’s teamed up with several entertainment industry leaders, including social impact agency Propper Daley, to promote veteran support agencies and non-profits in the groundbreaking “Got Your 6” campaign.

The military expression “Got Your 6” originated with World War I fighter pilots, in reference to having the person’s blind spot (6 o’clock) covered. It is now widely used to represent solidarity within the military community.

Human Interest Films produced online video content to help Macy’s and the Got Your 6 campaign tell the story of veterans and their commitment to community service once they return home from duty. We interviewed representatives from influential non-profits 100,000 HomesTeam Rubicon and The Mission Continues to tell the story of courageous veterans and their commendable acheivements both on and off the battlefield.
