IN PRODUCTION: BIG PROBLEM
As economic power in the U.S. becomes concentrated in the hands of fewer and fewer dominant corporations, we are proud to be in production on BIG PROBLEM — a groundbreaking feature-length documentary that will offer viewers an eye-opening and occasionally heartbreaking look at the effects that corporate concentration has on our lives. The film brings together a wide range of powerful voices — political leaders, journalists, historians, and economists along with a rich cross-section of “everyday” Americans. Our goal is to examine the phenomenon of monopolization from multiple points of view, understand how and why we got here, and offer viewers hope, inspiration and concrete steps for fixing a very broken system. SPOTLIGHT ON:
Sports Philanthropy
If our decade-plus relationship with the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation has taught us anything, it’s that sports philanthropy is one of the single most effective ways to transform lives and communities for the better. Through our films for LADF and other organizations, we’ve been lucky to witness first-hand the difference that these programs make, and tell powerful stories that help team foundations and other nonprofits raise funds and awareness to keep this great work going.
