Year after year, our clients trust us with their most important, high-profile projects thanks to the collaborative, professional and thoroughly enjoyable experience that the Human Interest Films team consistently provides.

Human Interest Films, Inc. was founded by Emmy-winning producer, director, writer and production executive Mike DeWitt. A graduate of Wesleyan University in Connecticut, Mike began his television career at PBS flagship station WNET/Thirteen in New York City. He went on to write, produce and direct dozens of television documentaries and public affairs programs for PBS, History, Discovery, Lifetime and A+E before starting Human Interest Films, Inc. in 2009. Mike works closely with Human Interest’s clients on all aspects of production — from strategy, messaging, and production logistics through delivery of the final product. He has been a member of the Directors Guild of America since 2008.
